Hey Friends!
If you’re new around here, let me introduce myself—I’m Beth Marshall, and I’m so glad you stopped by.
My best boyfriend/ husband, Paul, and I live Flat Rock, North Carolina~ not far from some of our grown kids and next-generation-superheroes (grand people). Since moving here in fall 2022, we’ve realized the Blue Ridge Mountains are our happy place!
This newly renovated site will continue to offer helpful grief resources. Additionally, I hope to lighten things up a bit, and share some encouraging stories—infused with a little humor—for whatever kind of day you’re having!
My newest book, Uncrushed launched into the wild recently.. and is now available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Christianbook.com, and most everywhere you love to buy books.. but my favorite place is through the amazing publisher, End Game Press!
I invite you to grab your favorite beverage, put your feet up, and make yourself at home. You Are Welcome Here! 💜

Uncrushed: real steps for healing your grief and restoring your joy– has recently received a couple exciting awards!
Organized and operated by the Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference, Selah Awards is a US-based competition for Christian writers. I couldn’t be more thrilled (or surprised) to have been selected as a 2024 finalist in the Christian Life category!
The annual Illumination Book Awards are a similarly focused award for 22 different categories within the Christian Book genre, where Uncrushed was awarded a Silver medal in one category. Gigantic thanks to both organizations for your kind recognition!.

Andy Hankins, CFO and Funeral Director, Johnson Funeral HomeJohnson Funeral Home is dedicated to providing compassionate care not only at the time of need, but in the season that follows. For a family grieving a loved one, receiving the certified death certificate can be a painful reminder of their loss. We have chosen Grief Survivor as a gift we offer to families during that difficult meeting. The beautiful hardcover book reminds them their loved one has not been forgotten.
Tom Haren, Care PastorThese (Grief Survivor brand) books have been so helpful for families hurting and healing through the grieving process. Thank you, Beth Marshall for your obedience in creating this great gift to our people!
Sandra CountsI keep these healing books on hand to use as gifts when a friend or family member loses a loved one. The cost is only about twice that of a sympathy card- and SO much more useful! I order 10 at a time so I’ll always have one on hand.
Jon McDerment, PastorThroughout the years, Grief Survivor has been one of the most trusted resources for our church, as people process their way through one of life’s hardest seasons. Beth Marshall’s wise counsel and practical tools are essential for walking toward lasting healing.
Jake Beaty, NewSpring ChurchGrief Survivor has been a trusted resource for our church for many years. When someone in our congregation is dealing with grief, we have found this book to be a practical tool as they process their loss, knowing God’s heart for them in their grief journey.
